Listing your business is fast and easy. At Local Outlets - we believe it is only fair that ALL Australian businesses have the opportunity to be found by customers. So if you are an Australian business with an ABN you are entitled to the following for free:

• A single listing on the Local Outlets system, which means your listing appears on the map at your address as a grey dot.
• A search run on localoutlets.com.au or any of our other partner directories that matches the search criteria you have set will display your dot on the map.
• If the user clicks on your dot, they see your free listing.
• Your listing includes:
  • Your industry category
  • Your business name & slogan
  • Your address
  • Your telephone number

Listings are automatically spiked onto the map at the address you supply . Up to 20 keywords can be added to help customers discover your business when they are searching.

You may already be listed, so check whether you are, by searching on the Find Page and entering your business name or your type of business in the Keywords box and your postcode.

If you are not listed then go to the Free Registration page and fill in the registration form. Then click on the Create Free Listing option on the Control Panel.

Registration is always free and we will never sell or rent your details to any third party (for more information read our privacy policy).

If you do find your listing and would like to take ownership of your details - click on the "Request your password now to update your details or upgrade to a website!" link that is included with all free listings.

This will open a form for you to send a request directly to us so we can email you a username and password.

You can sign in whenever you like to see all the features of the service that registered users see - a great way to become familiar with what is available if you'd like to consider using any of the available services.

You can change your details at any time simply by signing in with the username and password you create. Don't worry about forgetting about your listing and letting your details become out of date. We understand how hard it is to keep track of everything when you are busy running a business - so we email you a simple reminder once every 6 months with a copy of your listed information.

You can confirm that your details are still correct with a single click. It couldn't be easier.

If you are not yet listed on the directory, you need to register your details and add your keywords. We will email you to confirm once your listing has been successfully added. Click on "List my Business" now for a fast track registration and you will be included on the directory within 24 hours!

Our patented technology allows you to place a geographic address to your domain name with our Unique Geographic Locator (UGL). The cost for a UGL is $275 per year.

Don't have a website? You can build your own

If you are a business and have a valid ABN, you can easily build your own website on our site. All you have to do is register your business and follow the instructions to "create a website". You can build your website without outlaying any money. When you are totally happy with your website you can publish it at the all inclusive price of $500 +GST per year - and that includes hosting.

A major concern for many businesses has been the specialist skills required for building websites. It can be expensive to maintain in time and money. As a result the information on them gets out of date website very quickly. This makes them ineffective in advertising special offers in an efficient way.

Our website building facility requires no special skills and you can make changes as often as you like. The site is fully hosted and maintained so you don't need to worry about anything.
